Women Who Woodfire

During a workshop at Madalta in the summer of 2018 one of my students started a list of women who woodfire. As we collectively added to the list I realized that I have made this list multiple time over the years of teaching and working on various projects. Rather than remaking this list continuously, in the moment, and missing half the key players, I decided to compile the list here and make it available as a resource or reference. We also created an Instagram account that features women from the list. This is a completely inclusive list of Women Who Woodfire that has been compiled from suggestions made by people on both Instagram and Facebook. The goal of the Instagram account is to recognize and celebrate all female identifying woodfire artists. The account only follows women who woodfire, so that serves as the list, and allows easy access to their personal accounts. You can also download the list by clicking the button below. If you notice that someone is missing from the list or if there is incorrect information, please contact me so that I can correct it.
